How to book and pay
1.Click on to the Cottage Availability
Enquiry Form and submit your chosen
dates (Saturday to Saturday) or telephone 00 33 5 61 69 28 41 if
you prefer.
2. We will advise you of availability (or otherwise) for your preferred
dates. Once the availability of your desired week or weeks has been
confirmed by us (via e-mail) please contact us via email or telephone
so that we may make a provisional reservation for you and send you
a booking form via email.
3. In order to secure this reservation you will need to complete
and sign the Booking Form and send this to us. Payment of the deposit
will need to be made via an international transfer from your bank
or building society to arrive in full, in Euros at our bank in France.
Our IBAN and Swift details will be sent to you with the Booking
Form for this purpose and we will supply you with a unique payment
reference to enable us to identify the transaction.
Please ensure that your payment and completed Booking Form reaches
us within 7 days as we cannot undertake to hold a reservation beyond
this period.
The deposit will be 30% of the total rental ( subject to a minimum
deposit of 200 Euros). This deposit will secure the reservation
and is non-refundable.
4. Upon receipt of your completed booking form and deposit we will
send you confirmation of your reservation via email.
5. The balance of your cottage rental will be due for payment not
less than 8 weeks before the commencement of your holiday. You will
receive an invoice for this amount detailing;
1. The deposit already paid
2. The holiday rental balance due
This balance should be paid in full, in Euros by international transfer
to our bank in France.
6. With the invoice you will receive a request for payment of a
£200 refundable Security Bond along with a request for your
travel details. The Security Bond may be paid, in pounds sterling,
via an electronic transfer to our UK bank account (details will
be supplied, with a payment reference), or via a sterling cheque*
to be posted with your travel details Please complete the travel
form and return it to ensure that we are able to send you detailed
directions from your point of arrival, or from the A61 motorway,
if driving from the UK.
The £200 Security Bond will be refunded to you in full, subject
to deduction for any breakages, damage to the property, or additional
cleaning charges, via internet transfer to your bank account (or
via cheque sent to your UK address if preferred) within 14 days
of your departure.
You will also receive a shopping list. Should you wish to take
advantage of the pre-arrival shopping service, please complete this
and return it with your final payment. A bill for your shopping
will be payable in Euros on your arrival.
7. Approximately 2 weeks before you are due to arrive we will send
you some pre-travel information detailing arrangements for local
bike hire, the pre-arrival grocery shopping service, the Farm Shop
delivery service etc. Your supermarket till receipt, farm shop receipt
and statement detailing any expenditure made on your behalf will
be in your cottage and we would be grateful if you would settle
your account, in Euros, on arrival.
*Cheques should be made payable to Nicki Smith and posted to Nicki
Smith, Hameau de Montengrand, 09500 ROUMENGOUX, France.
