Montengrand has been described as 'more Arthur Ransome and Enid Blyton than Alton Towers or Walt Disney'. Intrepid young explorers will find plenty to interest and amuse.

The standard features such as table tennis, badminton and snooker are all available here, but less usual is the 5m wide traditional tipi pitched in a glade at the top of the hill, available to simply fuel the imagination or perhaps to camp out in. There is also a small sailing dinghy, kept on nearby Lac Montbel during the summer months, for guests to enjoy.

Help with grooming the ponies or feeding the menagerie is always gratefully received.
